CONGRATS TO…

·         Courage Run 10K

o   Elizabeth Kastura was 3^rd in her age group!

o   Laryn Langhofer was 1^st in his age group!  Looks like it was a sprint to the finish and Laurn beat his opponent by 13 sec!  Nice job!

o   Melissa Penwell was the 1^st Female!  Way to go!

 

·         Western States 100 Miler

o   Matt Keyes was 19^th and finished under 24 hours!

o   Rachel Grimm was top 10 in her age group with a 9^th place finish!

o   Tom Harper finished 5^th in his age group!

 

·         TBF Tri For Real

o   Dave Campbell was 1^st in his age group and 5^th Overall!

o   Flor Hodges was 1^st in her age group and 1^st female Overall!

o   Troy Outman was 4^th in his age group!

 

·         TBF Tri for Kids

o   Andee Bradley finished 2^nd in her age group!  Nice job!

·         Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival Olympic Tri           

o   Relay Division: Congrats to the “Two Bad Muthus” (Elise & Greg Winter) for finishing 2^nd out of 28 teams!

 

·         Ironman CDA

o   Robin finished 9^th in her age group.

o   Rosie Kracher finished her 1^st Ironman in blazing hot conditions!  Team Soares had the privilege to see her finishing the race!  Way to go girl!

CONGRATS TO…

·         Bear Lake Trifecta Run Challenge - Congrats to Carolyn for finishing 3 Half Marathons in 3 Days in 3 States!  She met her goal of sub 3:30 finishes!

·         Clackamas Cove Triathlon – Congrats to Harvey Soule for finishing 2^nd in his age group in the Olympic Distance race!  He did that with half of his eye sight!  Amazing effort and amazing determination!

·         Rock Tahoe Half Marathon – Congrats to Janell Peterson on her strong finish in the high altitude!  Nicely done!

Week of June 13th

CONGRATS TO…

·         Boise 70.3 Racers

o   Caryn Galeckas finished 14^th in her age group and encouraged/prayed for others out there!

o   Flor Hodges was 4^th in her age group and 10^th Overall!

o   Suzanne Hartley gave a great effort but had to drop out due to her injury. She’ll be back!

·         Rodeo Valley Runs

o   50K: Melissa Penwell was 3^rd Overall and 1^st in her age group!  Way to go in your first 50K!

o   30K: Cal Val was 3^rd in his age group!

o   ½ Marathon: Christine Val was 7^th in her age group!

o   Congrats to Todd Osterberg who gutted out the race despite major stomach issues!  The great news is that the hip flexors felt great!

·         Rock n’Roll Marathon

o   Congrats to Bailey & Jason Shykowski for finishing strong!  Bailey had been battling knee pain leading up to the race and Jason was battling sore hips before the race.  It was a team effort!  They crossed the line together in 3:54.

·         Tri For Real

o   Dave Campbell was 8^th Overall and 1^st in his age group!

o   Elise Winter was the 2^nd Woman Overall and 1^st in her age group!

o   Troy Outman was 7^th in his age group…even with a cold!
